VENUE AT FORMAT MUSIC FESTIVAL

Desiree was team lead with Sign Studio (NWA) for the creation of the Smokey's Venue, featured at Format Music Festival in Bentonville AR (2022). Designs by Christophe Hamaide of Assume Vivid Astro Focus (French designer)
Desiree managed the creation of Christophe's vison and brought it into reality through collaboration with her team!

BLUE ZOO AQUARIUM

Desiree was director of art for the Blue Zoo Aquarium in Rogers Arkansas (2022, 2023). From design concept, sketches, drawings, digital coloring, files, hand painted murals, sculpting, and more! Desiree and her team brought the aquarium to life!

ASSEMBLY FASHION & ART BIENNIAL

NWA FASHION WEEK

Desiree was gallery manager for Interform Art during the 2023 Art Biennial. Not only did she have art displayed at the VALUED exhibit, she assisted curators in building out their galleries and helping them keep their galleries running smoothly during the month long events. As a keyholder, she assisted in opening and closing all of the galleries during the exhibits and making sure each gallery had attendants.

Desiree worked with her team to build out gallery flats, theatre flats, displays, tables, and assisted with installations at each gallery including installations at the Momentary in Bentonville, AR. She was commissioned for several pieces of art, including two large faux stone sculptures for the catwalk stage for Fashion Week at the Momentary.

Not only did Desiree build this float from scratch, she also performed as a 'fortune teller' throughout the month long promotion and festivities. There's always a line to see Desiree at events. Desiree used to own and operate a chain of extreme sports shops in two states. From design concept to build out, she was actively involved it the creation of one of the region's most memorable skate and bike core shops at major malls in several cities. She also designed all the company branded products and even the fixtures in some of the locations, and directed her team to create an awesome skate park.
